Seems funny to be excited about "rubber tips" , but hey, its the little things in life, lol ! I come from a retail hardware and property maintenance background in a predominantly elderly area, so I know about cane and walking stick tips, lol. These are a quality dense material and even have steel washers molded in at the bottom of the hole. This is to prevent the host from "cutting" through the rubber. I used to do this with a standard washer whenever I sold the inferior quality tips we had available to us. Anyway, I can't endorse these enough, you just don't see quality like this these days.
